About me.

I'm a girl who fell in love with whisky. This is my way of nurturing this relationship. Why don't you join the journey and find out how it unfolds? Voyeuristic? Perhaps a bit. Potentially lots of fun? Hell yeah!

It all started when I joined my friend for a whisky tasting. My friend was persuading me already for a few weeks, trying to make me join him to have a company. I wasn’t a big fan of spirits back then. It was just a potentially fun Friday evening event. I told myself at least I try something new...

Look how it turned out! This is me, a few years later, giving my back then found passion a proper go.

It used to be more private stuff, but then a few things changed. First, I started to travel more. That wouldn’t be such a bad thing, but I started to travel to places with significantly worse access to a good whisky than it is in my hometown. That made me quite understandably sad and deprived, so I decided to strengthen my commitment and accountability (because that’s what you have to do in a serious relationship). And the second impulse came from my brother on Christmas 2018. On Christmas day, I’m used to going for a special Christmas dram to my favorite whisky place. That day, I tasted Ledaig 17yo Jurancon Wine, and I spent a considerable part of the family meeting talking about it. At one point, my brother interrupted me and said: “You know... this stuff would be much more interesting to talk about than the personal development stuff you’re doing now.” I decided to take it as an inspiration rather than a sarcastic remark. And that was it.

I just wanted to taste one dram. Yeah... what was I thinking?

Voyeuristic? Perhaps a bit. Potentially lots of fun? You bet!
